Starting a Successful Window Cleaning Business

The Squeegee Squad Window Cleaning Franchise is a simple business model with low overhead and low inventory. We have developed the tools that you need to be highly successful in the window cleaning industry. Squeegee Squad continues to research and develop new improvements and methods to gain competitive advantages and facilitate growth.

Squeegee Squad headquarters provides systems, consultation, support, technology, and development of the brand.

In order to be successful, you will need:

  • The ability to hear and do what is advised by others who have grown a Squeegee Squad business and know what it takes to grow your business.
  • The ability to learn and grow as you develop your management style. As you hire new team members in your Squeegee Squad business, you will need to be a positive leader who is respected by your crew and appreciated just as much as you appreciate them.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively while you market and give proposals to your client base. Everyone can be a salesperson with their own individual personality and style.
  • You will need confidence and enthusiasm to aggressively grow the brand locally and become a household name in your market.
  • If you have never run a business before, you will need to embrace the fact that hard work and determination are necessary to reach your goals over the long term. If it was easy, everyone would do it. Mediocre people should not apply. If you choose mediocrity, then you should stick to your day job and help someone else grow their business.
  • You do not need prior experience in the window cleaning industry to be successful.
  • If you do not possess sales experience already, you will need to be able to knock on a door and introduce yourself to neighbors as you begin servicing neighborhoods and meeting commercial clients.
  • If you do not possess employee management experience, you will need to begin hiring team members and become a positive leader who will gain the respect of your staff and who will also hold your crew members accountable to maintain the high Squeegee Squad service standards that the customers appreciate and expect from the brand.
  • Squeegee Squad utilizes technology. Squadware, our proprietary web based integrated software, is used along with Quickbooks to manage accounting, scheduling, dispatching & routing, and much more. Computer skills are a plus.
